On pose donc :

Définition :   $ \det\left( A\right) =\det\left( \varphi\right) $

3.2 Déterminant d'un produit de 2 matrices, de la matrice inverse d'une matrice inversible

Théorème :   $ A,B\in\mathcal{M}_{n}\left( \mathbb{K}\right) $

$\displaystyle \det\left( A\times B\right) =\det\left( A\right) \times\det\left( B\right) $

Preuve.$ A=\mathcal{M}_{\mathcal{B}}\left( \varphi\right) $, $ B=\mathcal{M} _{\mathcal{B}}\left( \psi\right) $, alors :

$\displaystyle A\times B$

$\displaystyle =\mathcal{M}_{\mathcal{B}}\left( \varphi\circ\psi\right)$

$\displaystyle \det\left( \varphi\circ\psi\right)$

$\displaystyle =\det\left( \varphi\right) \times\det\left( \psi\right)$

$\displaystyle \det\left( A\times B\right)$

$\displaystyle =\det\left( A\right) \times\det\left( B\right)$

$ \qedsymbol$

Théorème :   $ A\in GL_{n}\left( \mathbb{K}\right) $

$\displaystyle \det\left( A^{-1}\right) =\dfrac{1}{\det\left( A\right) } $

Preuve.$ A\times A^{-1}=I_{n}$, $ \det\left( I_{n}\right) =\det\left( Id_{E}\right) =\det(e_{1},e_{2},\ldots,e_{n})_{\mathcal{B}}=1$, d'où :$ \det\left( A\right) \times\det\left( A^{-1}\right) =1 $ $ \qedsymbol$

3.3 Déterminant de 2 matrices semblables

Théorème :   $ A$ et $ B$, 2 matrices semblables de $ \mathcal{M}_{n}\left( \mathbb{K}\right) $, alors : $ \det\left( A\right) =\det\left( B\right) $

Preuve. On a $ P\in GL_{n}\left( \mathbb{K}\right) $ telle que $ B=P^{-1}\times A\times P, $ d'où :

$\displaystyle \det\left( B\right)$

$\displaystyle =\det\left( P^{-1}\right) \times\det\left( A\right) \times\det\left( P\right)$

$\displaystyle =\det\left( P^{-1}\right) \times\det\left( P\right) \times\det\left( A\right)$

$\displaystyle =\det\left( P^{-1}\times P\right) \times\det\left( A\right)$

$\displaystyle =\det\left( A\right)$

$ \qedsymbol$

3.4 Déterminant de la transposée d'une matrice

Théorème :   $ A\in\mathcal{M}_{n}\left( \mathbb{K}\right) $, alors

$\displaystyle \det\left( ^{t}\!A\right) =\det\left( A\right) $

La démonstration est ici admise.
